ABOUT THE MARINA

The Port of Brookings-Harbor is located at the mouth of the Chetco River and is the safest bar on the west coast. Almost every day of the year, fishermen journey along the Chetco River Bar in search of Snapper, Ling Cod, Halibut and when in season, Chinook and Coho Salmon. Many local fishermen also keep a few pots handy to try for the delicious Dungeness Crab and Shrimp. Guide services and charters are available most of the year and they are skilled navigators at locating schools of fish.

With an easily accessible bar, fuel dock, ice house and close proximity to the ocean makes the Port of Brookings Harbor one of the best places on the Oregon Coast to moor.  The marina features a paved launch ramp with a courtesy dock and staging area. Fish cleaning station and a boat wash station. Daily boat trailer parking is available.

Port of Brookings Harbor is designated as Clean Marina by the Oregon State Marine Board. For more information about the Clean Marina program, click on https://www.oregon.gov/osmb/boater-info/Pages/Clean-Marinas.aspx
